There is a Level 2 Back Country Travel Restriction in place currently for the entire eastern section of MB from the Grand Beach area down to the U.S border and from Winnipeg to the Ontario border. This means that no travel is allowed until further notice until conditions change during this dry spell. Sustainable Development ahs posted most if not all the trail heads on Provincial Forest lands but may not have gotten to all of them. Their resources are stretched thin due to their crews being busy fighting active fires. We ask people to please respect the restriction and stay out of the back country at this time, there have been reports of folks still riding their quads on the trails. Lets wait until conditions improve please.
