Since the last Fire Conditions update of Apr 29th has now been moved to HIGH , with the warm dry temperatures and no moisture in the forecast the back country has become very dry. There are now 2 fire fighter TAC crews on standby posted at the Marchand Provincal Park and they are conducting regular helicopter inspections as well . PLEASE use extreme caution if you are travelling in the back country as conditions can change quickly and fires can start very easily. Also with limited cell phone service and internet connections you may not be able to receive and information or be able to call for help.
